Recipe: Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

small pumpkin for recipeIf you have a pumpkin leftover after Halloween, maybe just maybe you might be thinking about throwing the pumpkin away. Before throwing it away why not cook the pumpkin seeds. Here is a short and quick way to cook and roast your pumpkin seeds.

Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

Instructions:

1. Take the pumpkin seeds out of the pumpkin.
2. Wash the pumpkin seeds by putting them in a medium bowl.
3. Let the pumpkin seeds dry by placing them on a paper towel.
4. Use aluminium foil to place on top of the cookie sheet.
5. Place the pumpkin seeds on the cookie sheet. Drizzle olive oil, vegetable oil, or butter on them and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Salt and Pepper are optional.
6. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 10-15 mins.
7. Cool the pumpkin seeds at least 5 or 10 minutes before eating.
